Ficus benghalensis in its natural rainforest habitat can reach up to 30m tall, but we wouldn’t expect that to happen in your house! It originates in the tropical belt of Asia, Malaysia, China and Australia, and its leaves have a fuzzy surface.

Where should I put my Bengal Fig?

Your Tree likes a bright, sunny spot. Ficus Trees won’t tolerate long periods of low light or direct sun. If your tree is distressed it will shed leaves. 

How should I water my Fig Tree?

Only water your plant when compost is dry to the touch.

Does it need feeding?

During Spring and Summer, feed bi-monthly with a liquid feed. Happy Houseplants sell our own vegan organic plant food.
