Galvanized planters are made from steel coated with zinc, making them highly resistant to rust, corrosion, and weather damage. This ensures that they can withstand harsh outdoor conditions and last for many years without deteriorating. Due to their rust-resistant properties, galvanized planters have a longer lifespan compared to traditional planters made from materials like wood or clay. The zinc coating on galvanized planters helps to reflect sunlight and heat, keeping the soil and plant roots cooler during hot summer months. This can be especially beneficial for plants sensitive to high temperatures, promoting healthier growth and reducing the risk of heat stress. Galvanized planters are non-porous, preventing the leaching of harmful chemicals into the soil and ensuring better plant health. This is especially important for edible gardens, where the quality of the soil directly impacts the safety and nutrition of the crops grown.
Planters come preassembled and ready to plant with predrilled drain holes at the bottom of each box.

-Finish
GALVANIZED - A process in which steel or iron is coated with a layer of zinc to protect it from corrosion. The appearance of galvanized metal is characterized by a shiny, silver-gray surface. The coating gives the material a distinct metallic luster. Over time, the zinc coating may develop a matte gray patina as it weathers, but the initial appearance is typically bright and reflective.
