Size and fit
This basket measures 7.87 inches wide x 6.29 inches tall. It fits nursery pots with an outer diameter of 6 to 7 inches. Slide your existing plastic nursery pot inside — no repotting needed.
Measure your nursery pot outer diameter before ordering. The basket inner opening should be at least 1 inch wider than your pot for an easy fit.
Material
Handwoven from natural seagrass. The color is natural golden-tan with a warm two-tone stripe texture. No synthetic dyes. Seagrass color may appear slightly green when new and shift toward golden over the first few months indoors — this is normal for natural plant fiber.
What fits inside
- Pothos, herbs, or small Snake Plant in a 6 inch nursery pot
- Succulents or small Peace Lily in a 6 to 7 inch pot
- Any standard plastic or ceramic nursery pot up to 7 inches outer diameter
How people use this basket
- Place on a desk, windowsill, bookshelf, or side table to cover a nursery pot
- Use in a living room, bedroom, or home office
- Stack two or three different sizes together for a layered plant display
- Use as a small storage basket for keys, remote controls, or small accessories when not holding a plant
Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water or machine wash. Keep a drip saucer under your plant pot inside the basket to protect the seagrass from moisture. Suitable for indoor use only.
Before you order
- This basket does not have drainage holes — place a potted plant inside, do not plant directly into soil
- Color is natural golden-tan, not bright yellow
- Handwoven items have minor natural variation in shape and weave — not a defect
- Dimensions are approximate with a tolerance of up to 0.5 inches
