Know Your Plant
Sedum Rubrotinctum, popularly known as Jelly Bean or Pork and Beans Succulent, hails from Mexico and is loved for its chubby, bean-shaped leaves that turn bright red under sunlight. Its playful form and vibrant color make it a cheerful addition to any garden or indoor space. This hardy, sun-loving succulent is perfect for beginners, thriving with minimal care while adding a pop of joy and color wherever it grows.

Care Instructions
• Water deeply only when the soil is fully dry
• Use a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix
• Provide bright sunlight or partial outdoor sun for best color
• Fertilize lightly during the growing season for healthy growth
• Remove old or shriveled leaves to keep the plant tidy

Summer Care
• Keep in bright but shaded spots during extreme heat to avoid leaf burn
• Water early morning or evening to minimize evaporation
• Increase watering slightly if leaves wrinkle, but never let soil stay soggy
• Ensure proper ventilation to avoid fungal growth

Where to Keep
Sedum Rubrotinctum thrives on sunny balconies, window ledges, or outdoor patios. It enjoys full to partial sunlight and adapts well to indoor conditions if placed near a bright window. Avoid humid or dark corners, as they can dull its bright colors and slow growth.

Common Problems
• Overwatering leading to leaf drop or rot
• Faded or green leaves due to insufficient sunlight
• Stretched or leggy growth from low light
• Wrinkled leaves from underwatering
• Occasional pest issues like mealybugs or aphids

Amazing Design Appeal
Sedum Rubrotinctum delights with its glossy, plump leaves that shift from bright green to fiery red in the sun, creating a living rainbow effect. Its compact, playful form makes it perfect for hanging baskets, desk pots, or garden borders. Easy, colorful, and full of charm, it’s a must-have succulent for anyone who loves plants that truly shine with personality.

Very interesting and informative travel guide for kids!
Format: Kindle
I do not have a kid myself but got a chance to travel with my niece to Washington DC recently. I was worried about how I could keep her interest and excitement during the trip, (as you know it is not always easy to travel with the kid when you are not experienced) and I am lucky enough to have found this book. This book is like a normal travel guide but it is specially designed for kids, with a lot of fun games, interesting information, and colorful layout. It asks you to fill in information such as when did you go, where did you do, etc, which I think it can serve as a memory book for my niece and remind her the trip when she grows up. I will definitely purchase more travel guide from the same series!

Great Lesson for Age 2 and Up
This was our day care's Book of the Month, for children age 2-4 years old. They are all learning to use manners with their peers, at the table and when addressing adults. The lesson took a few readings for the children to understand the point, but once they understood what the various characters WEREN'T doing, therefore getting a negative response from Mr Panda, and what they SHOULD be doing to receive a positive response, the lesson stuck with them. If a child forgets his manners, a hint ("How would you ask Mr Panda?") has good results. This book, while a good story to read aloud, may need some additional explanation by the adult reader at first. Mr Panda offers his friends a treat, and who doesn't like donuts?! When each animal's response is rude or selfish, Mr Panda abruptly withdraws his offer and moves on to someone else. When the final offer is made to a friend who uses his manners, he gets ALL the donuts, because as Mr Panda remarks at the end, he doesn't like donuts anyway. I don't know if this sets up unrealistic expectations, but it's a good lesson presented in an entertaining way.
