Help protect your seedlings and offer them the best chance of establishing with these easy-to-use plastic cloches. Simply place the bell shaped cloche over your young plant, and secure the lip at the bottom into the soil using the metal ground pegs provided (3 per cloche) - you’ve instantly provided a shield for your germination. The set comprises 6 cloches each measuring 33cm wide by 30cm tall, and 18 metal ground pegs.
These cloches offer good all-round protection from slugs and other pests that might take a liking to your plants as well as frost and other inclement weather. The cloches help create a heated environment – like a mini-greenhouse – keeping the cold at bay, whilst the adjustable vent holes at the top of the bell ensures that heat can be released as needed.
Key benefits:
Protect plants from the weather: Plastic cloches create a stable micro climate that shields plants from harsh weather such as frost, winds and heavy rain downpours
Physical barrier from pests: The cloches will protect plants from pests such as slugs, snails, birds and others
Temperature control: The vent at the top of the cloche allow for temperature regulation and can reduce humidity if necessary
Easy to use: Simply place the bell shaped cloche over plants and secure with the included metal pegs
Dimensions: Each cloche measures 33cm x 33cm x 30cm and the pack includes 18 metal ground pegs
