Anthurium magnificum is a spectacular plant native to the tropical forests of Colombia, grown especially for its large, velvety, and highly ornamental leaves, which can reach impressive sizes under ideal conditions. Each leaf has an elongated heart shape, is a deep dark green, and is crossed by thick, silvery veins that create a graphic, elegant, and unmistakable pattern.

It is considered a collector's plant, highly valued for its exotic and architectural appearance, ideal as a focal point in tropical, jungle-style decor or modern spaces with statement plants.

🌿 General characteristics:

  • Scientific name: Anthurium magnificum

  • Common names: velvety anthurium, imperial anthurium

  • Family: Araceae

  • Plant type: tropical, perennial, decorative foliage

  • Leaves: very large, velvety, dark green with prominent silvery veins; elongated heart shape

  • Growth habit: upright, slow to medium growth with leaves arranged in a rosette

☀️ Growing conditions:

  • Light: bright indirect light; avoid direct sunlight

  • Temperature: optimal between 20–28°C; avoid drops below 15°C

  • Humidity: high (ideally above 60%) – regular misting or humidifier recommended

  • Watering: moderate – substrate should partially dry out between waterings

  • Soil: very airy and well-drained – aroid mix: bark, perlite, coconut fiber, peat

  • Fertilizing: every 2–4 weeks, spring and summer, with fertilizer for decorative foliage plants

✔️ Advantages:

  • Large foliage with strong visual impact

  • Rare and highly decorative plant, ideal for collectors

  • Creates a luxurious tropical accent in any interior

  • Combines perfectly with other aroids and tropical plants

  • Helps purify the air and adds extra humidity to the space

🔔 Note: The large, velvety leaves may occasionally show scars, scratches, or growth marks – these are normal for the species and do not affect the plant's health. They can also appear from handling or transport, but the plant continues to grow normally.

Pattern Name: Tug Rag
This is the best toy for puppy teeth. If you want to play with your pup you can hold with your hands & it protects your fingers. Our pup does prefer this toy to others & I think it is because the leather is thick.

SOOO DURABLE!!!
Pattern Name: Tug Rag
VERY VERY VERY durable!!!!! I have a Malinois and a Cane Corso who are both very high energy and high intensity. They have shredded every single toy, bite rag, and rope ive purchased butu this one has stood strong for a year so far. i would 100% buy again. could also just be thrown in the washer if it gets dirty which is a HUGE plus for super droolers.

my dog pulled the strap off in under 10 minutes. The leather is not sturdy and my dog was able to tear it to pieces in 20 minutes

Ok but not Leather
Pattern Name: Tug Rag
I will say it's fairly durable but when the description uses the word leather..one would expect LEATHER, not microfiber. That said..it is thick and pretty durable and the dog does like it ok. Obviously the strap is NOT meant for chewing. This is not a throw it on the ground and let ur dog have it sort of a toy. It's an interactive toy. If left to the dog most would scissor the strap off in the first 10 minutes. Something to keep in mind. In summation..an ok interactive toy but over priced for the material.
