Philodendron Cordatum Kunth, also known as the ‘Ture Heart Leaf Philodendron', is a rare and unique plant from Brazil. Unlike the more common Philodendron hederaceum var oxycardium, features large, glossy green leaves with a matte underside, growing up to the length of an adult’s arm. Native to the coastal regions near Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, it’s a resilient plant that thrives in bright, indirect light. Its stems and leaves often have purple or reddish spots that produce a sweet liquid, adding to its charm. This versatile plant is perfect for collectors looking for an authentic, rare Philodendron. The last photo shows a more mature leaf with red spots up the petiole. The plants are not currently at this stage.
