These slender, cream-colored stalks closely resemble white asparagus - minus the tips. Each stalk is delicately flavored, with a taste reminiscent of artichoke. Extremely perishable, Hearts of Palm are imported from Costa Rica.
Hearts of Palm from Melissa’s are hand packed for excellent quality. Refrigerate after opening.
Hearts of Palm from Melissa’s require no additional preparation and are delicious served in crudités wrapped with slices of Serrano ham or prosciutto.
