A marble-pink masterpiece in miniature
Philodendron 'Pink Princess Marble' | Fast EU shipping | Grown with love in the EU | Not pet-safe
Summary: With its marbled mix of deep green, creamy white, and vivid pink, the Philodendron 'Pink Princess Marble' Baby is a rare collector’s treasure. Perfect for compact spaces in German apartments and European homes.
✨ Why You'll Love the Philodendron 'Pink Princess Marble'
- Unique marbled variegation: pink, green, and cream blend beautifully
- Baby size (approx. 12 cm height | 6 cm pot) fits perfectly on desks and windowsills
- A must-have for Philodendron collectors and variegated plant lovers
- Brings a pop of rare color to your indoor jungle
🌞 Light & Placement
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain the strongest pink and cream marbling. Avoid direct midday sun, which may scorch delicate variegation, but don’t tuck it into dark corners either.
💧 Water & Humidity
Keep soil lightly moist—water when the top 2 cm feel dry. Loves extra humidity (50–70%), making it a great choice for bathrooms or grouped displays in living rooms. Perfect for dry German winters when heating reduces air moisture.
🪴 Soil & Potting
Use a well-draining, chunky soil mix (perlite, orchid bark, peat). This baby size doesn’t need frequent repotting—upgrade to a slightly larger pot once roots emerge from the drainage holes.
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
Not pet-safe. Like all Philodendrons, it contains calcium oxalate crystals that can irritate pets and small children. Keep on higher shelves if needed.
🌱 Growth & Propagation
A slow-growing but rewarding plant. Over time, it will develop larger leaves with striking marbling. Once mature, it can be propagated from stem cuttings with at least one node to produce new plants.
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
During winter, reduce watering and protect from cold drafts. In summer, provide warmth (18–27°C) and stable humidity to encourage vibrant variegation.
🐛 Common Issues
- Loss of pink = insufficient light
- Yellowing leaves = overwatering
- Brown tips = dry air or missed waterings
🧬 Botanical Background
The Philodendron 'Pink Princess Marble' is a rare variegated hybrid in the Araceae family, beloved for its unpredictable pink-and-white marbling. Coveted among plant collectors across Europe, it’s a striking addition to any indoor plant collection—especially in baby size.
