Germination and Planting Guide

• Grow Shiso as you would Basil  - a perennial best grown as an annual
• Prepare a tray of moist well-draining compost mix
• Suface sow the seeds
• Cover with a very light sprinklong of sharp sand or fine vermiculite
• Place on heat mat or in propagator to manitain tempareture of 19-25c
• Cover with a clear lid or bag with some air holes
• Keep in a bright spot but out direct sunlight - light is required for germination
• Germination takes 2-3 weeks
• Pot on once large enough to handle
• Harden off and plant out once all risk of frost has passed.
