The Variegated Senecio Rowleyanus, more commonly known as the Variegated String of Pearls, is an indoor succulent popular for its trailing, oval-shaped foliage. Undemanding and easy to grow a plant. Its variegated pearls have beautiful intricate detail and colour; they look stunning trailing down shelves, and their easy-care nature makes it hard not to love!

The plant derives its name from its long and slender stems that hang down and are adorned with small, spherical-shaped leaves that resemble pearls. The plant can reach a length of two to three feet, making it a perfect choice for areas such as hanging baskets or elevated shelves where its stems can trail gracefully.

Caring for the String of Pearls is relatively straightforward. These plants prefer well-draining soil and bright light to thrive. Overwatering can cause root rot, so it's best to let the soil dry out between waterings and then water thoroughly, allowing the excess water to drain out.

The String of Pearls is an excellent choice for adding a unique touch of interest and texture to any room. The plant's long and trailing stems can be styled in various ways, such as draping them down from a hanging basket or wrapping them around a trellis or hoop. Additionally, the plant works well in a terrarium or mixed plant arrangement.

To create an appealing display with the String of Pearls, consider combining it with plants with contrasting textures, such as those with broader leaves or foliage of different colours. The plant also pairs well with natural materials such as wood or woven baskets, which complement its earthy tones.

In conclusion, the String of Pearls is an outstanding and low-maintenance plant that can add a whimsy to any indoor space. This plant can flourish and grow by providing the proper care, beauty, and interest for years to come.

It’s a classic 70s houseplant making a huge comeback - for a good reason; its stunning easy-care nature makes it hard not to love!

My last Timex and why.
Color: Black/Gray/Digital, Color: Black/Gray/Digital
New edit. Upon further reflection, I’ve only had, a couple of exploratory years with Swatch excepted, Timex watches. My first one was when my mother replaced the Chicita Banana “tickity tock” sticker with a real Timex wind up watch before my first Cub Scout camp. In addition to many other Timex products, I’ve had these Ironman watches for the past 25+years. Usually the band wears out and can’t be replaced after three or four years. This particular watch fell apart less than six weeks old. It wasn’t hit by impact. It just came apart while I was driving down the road. I wonder if they’ve changed their manufacturing process. See photo for details. What is truly infuriating is that rather than replacing it, because it is truly a warranty issue, the told me to ship it to their offshore repair facility (which could take 3-5 months) and pay what might be half the value of the watch. Things happen, but the intentional friction they have created to avoid their obligations borders on malpractice and speaks to their indifference toward customer experience and subsequent lifetime value.

As expected
Color: Gray/Gray/Digital
Just an old school digital timex. Tried and true. Has both 12hr and 24hr function on the time setting. Has a standard stop watch and timer. The battery is great, just as it always is on a timex. Good water resistance and very easy to use. Overall very good watch for the price!

Love the Timex Ironman Shock watches!!
Color: Black/Black/Digital
I really like the Timex Ironman Shock watches. They are very durable and reliable. Simple to use and modeled after the. Original Ironman watches of the late 80s and 90s. Buttons are clearly marked and easy to press. They used to make many colors of this Shock model of the watch inc a cool shiny red color my wife still has . I have been a runner many many years and at 65, am still out although a lot slower than my 20s. But Timex Ironman watches have. Been my constant companion on the roads and track for 35 years now.
