Anthurium KOS x RVDP – Variegated Seedlings
We are excited to offer a special selection of variegated seedlings from our KOS x RVDP batch. This cross has already proven to be exceptional, and we were fortunate to see a number of variegated individuals emerge—something we did not take for granted.
This listing is strictly for variegated seedlings only. A separate listing will be made available for non-variegated plants from the same batch.
Availability is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
⸻
Mother Plant
The mother plant is a clone of Anthurium King of Spades.
This particular clone was acquired directly from Haji Ulih, the creator of King of Spades. It is known for its elegant form and subtle light red to pink emergents, which transition into dark, refined mature foliage. A classic and highly respected plant, selected for its structure and consistency.
⸻
Pollen Donor
The pollen donor is a clone of Anthurium Red Vein Dark Phoenix (RVDP).
Sourced from Mr Jeera of Siam Flora Nursery (Thailand), this plant is known for its intensely red emergents and exceptionally dark, velvety mature leaves. As the name suggests, it features striking red venation, creating a dramatic contrast against the deep foliage. A standout plant with strong colour expression and presence.
⸻
Variegation Note
The variegation observed in this batch varies from plant to plant and may include sectoral, marbled, or splash patterns. As with all variegated seedlings, expression can evolve over time as the plant matures.
⸻
Expectations
This cross combines structure, velvet texture, and strong colour expression. With the added element of variegation, expect a wide range of unique and highly collectible outcomes. Potential traits include dark, velvety foliage, red or pink-toned emergents, and contrasting variegation patterns.
Each seedling is unique, making this an exciting opportunity for collectors looking for something truly special.
