Want more plants but running out of flat surfaces? Time to go under glass.
Terrariums: Gardens Under Glass is your guide to creating tiny, low-fuss worlds of green that fit on your desk, bookshelf, or that one sad corner that needs some life.
Terrarium expert Maria Colletti walks you through 20+ step-by-step designs, so you can build your own mini jungles, deserts and mossy dreamscapes without needing a backyard (or a clue, honestly).
Inside, you’ll learn how to:
- Work with today’s “it” plants – air plants (tillandsias), orchids, mosses, cacti, succulents and classic ferns.
- Choose the right vessels and glassware – from hanging globes to vertical planters and table-top centrepieces.
- Understand the basics of soil, water and humidity so your tiny worlds actually thrive, not fog up and flop.
- Mix, match and customise designs into your own endless creative combos.
Perfect if you:
- Live in an apartment,
- Are chained to an office desk, or
- Just want more green in your life without committing to a full jungle.
Pair this book with a few mini plants from The Plant Boys and you’ve got an instant “wow, did you make that?!” moment waiting to happen. 🌿✨
