strawberry plant seeds Wild Strawberry Seeds (Fragaria virginiana) – Monticello ShopThomas Jefferson first recorded "strawberries come to table," at Shadwell, his boyhood home, on May 28, 1767. This diary entry added: "100 fill half a pint," suggesting he was growing the Wild Strawberry, which bears small, extremely sweet fruits. Sow seeds indoors 12-20 weeks before last frost date at 68˚F. Fragaria virginiana seeds have naturally low germination; provide 60-85 days of cold-moist stratification before sowing to enhance germination. Transplant to 3" pots once they have several true leaves, then harden off and plant outdoors after last frost. Plants spread by runners.

Approx. 50-60 seeds per packet.

It doesn’t even fit
It doesn’t fit our Breville Barista Pro because the portafilter head is too tall. Such a disappointment. Update: Absolutely horrible customer support as well. Their only attempt to rectify the situation was by double checking their own portafilter they have and confirming it works. It’s equivalent of “we investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong.” No replacements, no willingness to accept constructive criticism in order to change the dimensions slightly by decreasing the height of the portafilter head by even a millimeter to make it work, nothing. Just a slap in the face telling me to return it and be gone. Avoid this product.

More work than it’s worth
It was great quality and the weight was nice, but it was odd having the open bottom and no spout to dribble into a cup when making an espresso. It was difficult to get the wire tool out of the end of the handle, making it difficult to use. I was not that impressed and it’s quite expensive.

Quality and Function
Looks like a silly little thing, I am not a coffee enthusiast. But it does exactly what it is supposed to do and with high quality. The device (a stretch to call it that) is made of sturdy materials including the needles. They give you two different thicknesses of needles, one for expressi (0.3) and one set for coffee grinds (0.4). Each comes wth some spares. The stand is well designed and keeps grinds from spreading all over. It is very elegant design. I use this with a dosing funnel on my portafilter. Not the cheapest one could buy but well worth the money.

Perfect WDT tool
Best WDT I’ve found. Love that it includes 0.3mm needles (as I’ve found that 0.4mm needles push the grounds around too much), and the stand is very clever. It knocks off the residual grounds on the needles and is easy to use. As far as WDT tools go, I can’t imagine anything better.
