Origin: Native to the limestone-rich forests of southern Mexico, where it grows as a terrestrial or epiphytic plant, absorbing moisture from the air.
Growth Habit & Size: A compact, slow-growing epiphyte reaching up to 40-60 cm tall indoors. Produces thick, leathery leaves that develop larger and more pronounced veins as the plant matures.
Shape & Spread: Broad, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety texture and striking white venation. Forms a low, bushy growth habit rather than climbing.
Room Placement: Thrives in bright, indirect light, making it ideal for north-facing or east-facing rooms in the southern hemisphere.
