Introducing Aglaonema Siam Jade Variegated — Large
Graceful, jade-green leaves washed with creamy marbling give this large specimen a luminous, gallery-ready look. In bright, filtered light it holds crisp contrast while the clump forms a broad, balanced canopy—ideal for living rooms, entry tables, or office corners.
At-a-Glance Features
- Botanical name: Aglaonema ‘Siam Jade Variegated’
- Growth habit: Self-heading; full, symmetrical mound at maturity
- Leaf character: Jade lamina with cream/chartreuse marbling, gentle gloss
- Current size (large): ~50–70 cm (20–28 in) tall
- Expected indoor span: up to ~80 cm (31 in) with good care
- Light: Bright–indirect; tolerates medium light with softer contrast
- Pets: Keep out of reach
Style & Placement Ideas
- A calm statement piece beside neutral décor (stone, sand, matte white).
- Pairs beautifully with darker aroids—its pale marbling brightens the grouping.
- Wide canopy suits floor stands or low consoles where leaves can drape slightly.
Care, Simplified
- Water: Allow the top 2–3 cm (¾–1 in) to dry; keep evenly moist, never soggy.
- Environment: 50–70% RH; 18–29 °C (65–85 °F); gentle airflow supports sturdy growth.
- Potting Blend: Airy aroid mix (bark + perlite/pumice + coco; light touch of sphagnum).
- Nutrition: Balanced fertilizer at ¼–½ strength during active growth.
- Light Notes: Soft, filtered light keeps the cream variegation vivid without scorch.
Settle-In Guide
- Place in bright, dappled light and increase intensity gradually.
- Hold repotting for 2–3 weeks so roots can establish.
- New leaves typically show the cleanest marbling and sheen.
