About Echeveria 'Green Grape'
Echeveria 'Green Grape' is reported to be a sibling of Graptoveria 'Amethorum', as both share similar leaf characteristics: exceptionally thick, short, spoon-shaped leaves with smooth surfaces. However, Echeveria 'Green Grape' differs in its pointed leaf tips and soft jade-green coloration, while Graptoveria 'Amethorum' displays more pronounced leaf margins. Under strong growth or stress conditions, this succulent may develop warm, jelly-like orange tones.
How to Care for Echeveria 'Green Grape'
Sun/Location: Tolerant of lower light without easily stretching, Echeveria 'Green Grape' still prefers bright filtered light or gentle morning sun to stay compact and well-shaped. In strong summer heat, provide afternoon shade to avoid scorching.
Soil/Pot: A gritty, fast-draining soil mix with pumice and perlite is essential. Use breathable terracotta or ceramic containers with drainage holes to ensure quick drying and prevent moisture-related root issues.
Watering: Wait until the soil is fully dry before watering deeply. Water Echeveria 'Green Grape' every 1–2 weeks in active growth seasons, reduce watering in winter, and avoid watering in summer heat except after sunset. Drain excess rainwater when grown outdoors.
