Description:
The Jade Plant, also known as Crassula, is a succulent that is native to South Africa. It is an attractive and slow-growing plant that is often grown as a houseplant or in outdoor rock gardens. The Jade Plant has thick, fleshy leaves that are usually a rich green color, and it produces small, white or pink star-shaped flowers on stalks during the summer months.
Plant Care:
- Light: The Jade Plant needs bright, indirect light, but can tolerate low light conditions.
- Water: Water your Jade Plant once a week, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Over-watering can lead to root rot.
- Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix and ensure that the pot has good drainage holes to prevent water from sitting in the bottom.
- Fertilizer: Fertilize your Jade Plant every two to four weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
By following these tips, your Jade Plant should grow well and be a beautiful addition to your home or outdoor garden. This plant is easy to care for and is well-suited for those who are new to growing succulents.
Disclaimer:
Our plants are always supplied with nursery pot. Please note, therefore, that the size specifications always refer to the height of the plant including the plant pot. Deviations of a few centimeters cannot always be ruled out as you are buying a natural living product. The height depends on several factors and can also vary slightly seasonally. The mentioned height of the plant is inclusive of the pot.
