Monstera Dubia Medium – The Shingling Climber with Exquisite Silver Veins
Monstera Dubia is one of the most fascinating Monsteras, known for its shingling growth habit, where its leaves press flat against surfaces as they climb. The medium size ensures it's at the perfect stage for rapid growth, making it an ideal addition for collectors and plant stylists.
Why Monstera Dubia is a Must-Have
- Shingling Growth Habit – Unlike other climbing Monsteras, Dubia adheres tightly to surfaces, creating a living green tapestry.
- Silver Veined Foliage – The juvenile leaves feature pale silver patterns on deep green, which mature into large, fenestrated foliage when allowed to climb.
- Compact & Versatile – Suitable for vertical gardens, moss poles, or mounted wood planks.
How to Keep Monstera Dubia Thriving
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but adapts to lower light levels.
- Water: Keep soil lightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry before rewatering.
- Climate: Enjoys temperatures of 65-85°F and humidity above 60%.
- Soil: A well-draining mix with coco coir, perlite, and orchid bark is ideal.
Train your Monstera Dubia on a moss pole or wooden board for stunning, mature foliage!
