One of the most striking varieties of yucca, 'Color Guard', features a captivating gold-centered variegated form with leaves that boast green margins and eye-catching creamy gold centers, complete with those delightful long, curly white threads along the edges. It shows remarkable adaptability, tolerating poor sandy soils, heat, drought, and even salty sprays, and surprisingly, it can comfortably manage some part shade, too. Plus, it’s incredibly easy to propagate from its basal offsets, making it a wonderful addition to any garden.
