Frequently Asked Questions
Why do the new leaves look coppery?
New growth emerges in warm copper-bronze tones and matures to green — this colour shift is the variety's signature.
How often should I water it in India?
Every 2–4 weeks. Let the soil dry fully between waterings, and water less in the monsoon.
Does it need sunlight?
No direct sun is needed. Bright indirect light brings out the copper tones best.
Does it purify air?
Yes. Like all snake plants, it filters indoor toxins and releases oxygen at night.
Is it safe for pets?
No. It is mildly toxic if chewed, so keep it away from cats and dogs.
