Antique wicker baby carriage with flowing scrolled arms, high arched backs, and large spoked iron wheels. The carriage is fitted with a turned wooden push handle and woven wicker basket seats, displaying the craftsmanship for which the F. A. Whitney Carriage Company was renowned. Founded in 1858, Whitney was the first American baby carriage manufacturer and set the standard for wicker carriage design in the late Victorian and Edwardian eras.

Significant wear and rust are present on the wheels and metal supports, and the handle shows evidence of having been reattached. The wicker remains in good antique condition aside from a small missing portion at the front corner. Despite its age, the carriage rolls smoothly and retains excellent display presence.
