Sedum pachyphyllum 'Blue Jelly Beans' Crested is an eye-catching, crested form of the classic Jelly Bean plant, prized for its sculptural appearance and soft blue-green tones. Native to Mexico, this crested succulent differs from the typical Sedum pachyphyllum by forming unusual fan-like or brain-shaped growths rather than the usual trailing stems. These structural forms are the result of fasciation—a rare natural mutation that causes the growing tip to flatten and proliferate—producing a coral-like mass of plump leaves that makes each specimen truly one of a kind.

The thick, finger-like leaves have a powdery blue coating (a waxy bloom called farina) that helps protect the plant from intense sunlight and moisture loss. When grown in bright light or allowed to dry between waterings, the leaf tips can blush with pink to orange hues, adding to its ornamental appeal. These seasonal colour shifts make it a dynamic feature in both container arrangements and rock gardens.

In summer, mature plants may produce small, star-shaped yellow flowers on short stalks, though flowering is less common in crested specimens. Best grown in a sunny to partly shaded position, Sedum pachyphyllum 'Blue Jelly Beans' Crested thrives in well-drained soil and benefits from a dry spell between waterings. It prefers a temperate range of 5–25 °C and should be protected from hard frost or prolonged cold snaps.

Its compact form and rare crested growth make it a talking point for collectors and succulent enthusiasts alike.

Works great never had a problem
Size: 5 Quart, Style: Full Synthetic, Configuration: 0W-40
I've been using this mobile one in my 2005 Mercedes kompressor C230 w203 1.8 engine for about 18 years and never had a problem so I will continue to use it. The price was very good compared to other places but I did have to order one extra quart, I don't know why they don't make this mobile one in a six quart jug.

Great for my hot rod!
Size: 5 Quart, Style: Full Synthetic, Configuration: 0W-40
Perfect oil for my hot rod! Add a bottle of zinc and you get great low temp flow as well as good heat protection. As a 0W it flows quickly for good start up protection and the 40W means I get good protection as temps rise. My car has a flat tappet hydraulic cam so I add a bottle of zinc. Has worked great!

European oil… Japanese engine… zero regrets 🇪🇺➡️🇯🇵
Size: 5 Quart, Style: Full Synthetic, Configuration: 0W-40, Size: 5 Quart, Style: Full Synthetic, Configuration: 0W-40
Yes, I know what the label says. “European Car Formula.” Yes, I put it in a 2002 Subaru WRX bugeye with an EJ257 block and EJ205 heads. And yes—this oil absolutely slaps. This engine is not stock, not delicate, and definitely not living an easy life. It sees spirited driving, boost, and the occasional questionable decision. After switching to Mobil 1 0W-40, cold starts are smoother, oil pressure is rock solid, and the motor just feels happier. No weird noises, no drama, no oil consumption surprises. The viscosity is perfect for a performance Subaru build, especially if you’re running tighter tolerances or want strong protection under heat and load. It’s thick enough when hot, flows great when cold, and inspires confidence every time I turn the key. Is it technically “European”? Sure. Does my Subaru care? Not even a little. If you’re running a built engine, turbo setup, or just want a proven, high-quality oil that punches above its weight, this stuff earns its reputation. My bugeye may not be European, but it’s living its best life on this oil. Would absolutely buy again—passport not required.
