Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ is a branching succulent with stacked and fleshy propeller-like leaves that can turn from bright green to vibrant red when received plenty of bright light. The red color can also intensify from cold winter temperatures.
Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ is a low-growing plant that spreads to form a beautiful mat of 6 inches (15 cm) in height and up to 3 feet (90 cm) wide, so it is perfect as a groundcover.
The plant produces clusters of tiny white starry flowers during summer.
All of the plants may be shipped bare root. -
Full Sun, Sun to Partial Shade, Light Shade.
Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Avoid letting water sit for too long in the soil to prevent rot and fungal diseases. Reduce watering in the winter.
Porous and well-drained. Optimal pH is around 6.0 (slightly acidic).
Average summer temperatures from 65ºF/18ºC to 70ºF/21ºC are ideal. In winter, it can survive temperatures as low as 50ºF/10ºC.
Feed with a controlled-release fertilizer at the beginning of the growing season.
You can propagate Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ by division, offsets or leaf cuttings. The easiest way is to propagate from a single leaf: put the leaf in a succulent or cacti mix, then cover until it sprouts.
Can be toxic to humans and animals - Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zone 9a to 11b: from 20 °F (−6.7 °C) to 50 °F (10 °C).

Great sunscreen!

We have used this sunscreen lotion on multiple beach vacations, and most recently on our cruise. The quality, coverage and protection are great. The lotion glides on smoothly and is not sticky. It has a light fresh scent that did not irritate the members of the family with sensitive skin. This is one of our favorite lotions to use, and we keep repurchasing it. The price point is great as well.

It works

Well this product works. At first I thought maybe the Caribbean sun wasn’t as bad as people said since I was in the sun for 4 days wearing this sunscreen and hardly had tan lines, then I tested my theory for 1 day with another brand and got a sunburn. I took star off (would really only do a half if it allowed) for when you go in the water or if you sweat there is a bit of white residue that it leaves.
But for sun purposes, if you want protection, I highly recommend.
