This will add some ka-pow to your garden! Black Heart Sweet Potato Vine is a dramatic and low-maintenance ornamental vine valued for its dark purple to almost black foliage. It is bold and attractive with its dark, heart-shaped leaves, and it's mega spectacular in hanging baskets since it has its trailing growth habit. Black Heart is hardy in zones 9-11, but is often grown as an annual. Use it as ground cover, or in a thriller-spiller container, or by itself as a specimen a-top a tree stump! It will thrive in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. The sunnier, the blacker the leaves. These are growing in 3.5-inch containers.
