Plant Care

Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight for your Jade. It appreciates ample light but should be shielded from intense, direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate leaves. A south or west-facing window with filtered light is ideal.

Temperature: Maintain a warm indoor environment with temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts, as it is sensitive to temperature fluctuations.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Water sparingly but thoroughly, as Jade is drought-tolerant. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Reduce watering during the dormant season (fall and winter).

Soil: Use well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix to ensure good drainage and prevent waterlogged soil. A mix of potting soil, perlite, and sand is suitable.

Pot: Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water accumulation at the root level. Jade prefers slightly crowded conditions and does not require frequent repotting.

Fertilization: Feed your Jade plant sparingly. Apply a balanced, water-soluble cactus or succulent fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid over-fertilizing.

Pests: Jade is relatively pest-resistant, but occasionally, mealybugs or aphids may appear. Inspect your plant regularly and treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.

I believe it's a great buy for us! I will be using it for face cloths, extra hand towels, a candle or 2, a small tray for jewelry, and a picture and plant. Good to go!!
