Key Benefits of Krishikranti GLYUP 41% SL

  • Total weed kill in one spray: Controls annual + perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges — including hard-to-kill Motha, Doob, Kans, and Parthenium
  • Root-level systemic action: Travels from leaf to root and rhizome — perennial weeds do not regrow
  • Easy-to-mix liquid: SL formulation dissolves instantly in water, no settling at tank bottom, no granule mixing time
  • Economical per acre: One of the lowest cost-per-acre weed control solutions in the market
  • Soil-safe: Binds tightly to soil, does not leach down, safe to sow crops 15 to 20 days after spraying
  • Rain-fast in 4 to 6 hours: Reliable performance even during monsoon season
  • Multi-purpose: Works in tea, plantations, orchards, paddy bunds, non-cropped areas, and pre-sowing field prep  one product, every weed control job
  • CIB & RC approved in India: Registered for use in tea and non-cropped areas
  • Compatible with surfactants: Add ammonium sulphate for harder water and better absorption

How Does GLYUP 41% SL Work?

Glyphosate is a systemic herbicide. It works in 4 stages:

  • Foliar absorption: Within minutes of spraying, glyphosate enters the weed through the leaf surface
  • Phloem translocation: It moves down through the plant to roots, stems, rhizomes, and underground tubers  reaches every growth point
  • Enzyme blocker (EPSP synthase): Glyphosate blocks the EPSP synthase enzyme, stopping the plant from making essential amino acids needed for growth
  • Total plant death: The plant starves and dies fully within 14 to 21 days  including underground roots and rhizomes. No regrowth.

Bonus benefit: Glyphosate binds tightly to soil particles on contact, so it does not damage seeds planted later. That is why farmers can sow paddy, cotton, soybean, or sugarcane safely 15 to 20 days after spraying.

GLYUP 41% SL vs GLYUP 71% SG  Which Should You Buy? 41% SL is the economical liquid choice for small-to-medium acreage, paddy bunds, and routine annual weed clearing. 71% SG carries 73% more active ingredient per kg — better for large acreage, tough perennial weeds, and plantation managers looking to cut transport cost. Compare: Glyphosate 71% SG version.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is Glyphosate 41% SL used for? GLYUP 41% SL is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergent weedicide. It controls annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges in tea, plantations, orchards, paddy bunds, non-cropped areas, and pre-sowing field preparation.
Q. What is the dose of Glyphosate 41% SL per acre? General use: 800 ml to 1 L per acre dissolved in 150 to 200 litres of water. For tough perennial weeds (Motha, Doob, Kans), use 1.2 to 1.6 L per acre. For paddy bunds, 600 to 800 ml per acre is enough.
Q. How much Glyphosate 41% SL to mix in 15 litre pump? Mix 100 to 150 ml per 15 litre knapsack pump. Pour glyphosate into the half-filled tank first, then top up with water and shake well before spraying.
Q. How much Glyphosate 41% SL per litre of water? For general use: 7 to 10 ml per litre of water. For tougher weeds: 10 to 15 ml per litre. Always pre-mix in a small bucket if using cold or hard water.
Q. How long does Glyphosate 41% SL take to kill weeds? Yellowing starts in 4 to 7 days. Complete kill of annual weeds in 10 to 14 days. Tough perennial weeds like Motha and Doob die fully in 14 to 21 days, with no regrowth from underground roots.
Q. Is GLYUP 41% SL safe for crops? No. It is non-selective and will kill every green plant it touches. Use only in non-cropped areas, paddy bunds (directed spray), orchards (directed spray with hooded sprayer), or 15 to 20 days before sowing the main crop.
Q. Can I sow paddy or cotton after spraying GLYUP 41% SL? Yes. Glyphosate binds to soil and does not affect seeds planted later. Wait 15 to 20 days after spraying, then sow paddy, cotton, soybean, maize, or sugarcane safely.
Q. Glyphosate 41% SL vs 71% SG  which is better? 41% SL is the economical liquid form, best for routine weed control on small to medium farms. 71% SG has 73% more active ingredient per kg, so the dose per acre is lower — better for large acreage, tough perennials, and plantations where transport cost matters.
Q. Can GLYUP 41% SL kill Motha (nutgrass) and Doob (Bermuda grass)? Yes. Use a higher dose (1.2 to 1.6 L per acre) when these perennials are at 6 to 8 inches height, before flowering. The systemic action travels to underground rhizomes and tubers, killing the plant fully.
Q. Is GLYUP 41% SL rain-fast? Yes. It is rain-fast within 4 to 6 hours after spraying. If rain comes after this window, the herbicide has already been absorbed and will continue working.
Q. Can I mix Glyphosate 41% SL with other herbicides? Yes, with care. It can be tank-mixed with 2,4-D for stronger broadleaf control, or with paraquat for faster knockdown of annual weeds. Do not mix with copper sprays or hard-water salts. Always do a small jar test first.
Q. Is GLYUP 41% SL CIB & RC approved in India? Yes. Glyphosate 41% SL is CIB & RC registered for use in tea (against perennial weeds) and non-cropped areas. Farmers also widely use it for pre-sowing land preparation, paddy bund cleaning, and directed spray in plantations and orchards.

No Rust, No Fuss, A simple but great Sink Item
Color: Black - 9.25″
For years I just had my sponges just laying on or around the sink but this year I decided I needed something to hold the soups and cleaning detergent. Along with not being too pricy and that is how I stumbled upon this sink caddy it has worked amazingly. It holds the detergent, sponge, and tube brushes with no problem and any water is drained out from the little spout underneath it. You can adjust the dividers so you can have how you want things separeted from each other and with the bottom being plastic you don't have to worry about getting any rust there. If you need something to make more space around your sink this item will help you.

Functional neat and worth it!
Color: Navy Blue - 9.25″
This caddy has been even more useful than I expected. It instantly made my kitchen look cleaner and more organized compared to having wet sponges sitting on the sink. My counters look much tidier now, and the sponges dry out much better. It may seem like a small addition, but it really makes a big difference.

Makes the Sink Area All the More Organized
Color: Silver With Towel Rack - 9.25″, Color: Silver With Towel Rack - 9.25″
At first glance I'm sure most people might think this kitchen accessory is kind of silly; a caddy for your sponge and dish soap? But honestly, it makes the kitchen area look at the more organized and keeps things in place. I sprung for the model with the towel holder because I always feel weird about bacteria sitting in the wet microfiber cloth that I use for cleaning the kitchen countertop and my dining table. The little dowel allows it to dry very quickly. The holder can be configured in a few different ways to accommodate your cleaning items. I like that it's wide enough to comfortably hold the large bottle of dishwashing soap I buy and it's the perfect width for Sponge Mommy/Daddy sponges. I've had it less than a week and haven't had to wash it yet, but it seems like it will hold up well in the dishwasher and won't rust. Since I don't have any sponges on a handle, I may use the removable compartment for those (that you can see on the left in my photo) for other kitchen tools.

Un mess your kitchen sink mess
Color: Black - 9.25″
Just the exact right thing to gather all the sink doodads into one place. There is a little divider that is movable so you can adjust the sponge holder to your brand of sponge. AND it has a drain spout for the water run off. Very sturdy and handy sink catch all.

Great for organizing sink
Color: White - 9.25″
We had one of those suction cup sponge holders, but if you have tile that is not completely smooth, it falls down. This does not have that issue because it just sits on the counter or if you have a large sink lip, on there. You can move the inside pieces around which I was really surprised about because I thought it was all in one piece. Being able to move them around is great because then you can adjust it for your own soap dispensers, etc to fit your space. I like that it comes in a ton of colors. We got the white and it blends into our kitchen and looks really nice. This organizes our dish soap, sink drain cover, and sponges nicely and gives it all a space to go in. The tray on the bottom is silicon and removable which is great. I wish I had bought this thing years ago because it's great.
