This selective herbicide is safe for use on clovers, alfalfa, chicory, and Clearfield® sunflowers, making it an ideal choice for maintaining your diverse plots. Whether you're working with legume-based plots, high-protein forages, or sunflowers for hunting season, Imazamox protects your crops while controlling unwanted weeds.
For best results, spay your fields when the weeds are 3-4 inches tall. The taller and more mature the weeds are, the less effective Imazamox will be.
*Note on chicory: For chicory, apply the herbicide early post-emergence, when weeds are actively growing and the chicory has at least 2, but no more than 4, fully expanded true leaves. Do not apply if the chicory is under stress from conditions such as hail, flooding, drought, damage from other herbicides, or temperature fluctuations, as this may cause crop injury.
