Lavender-purple flowers that return beyond spring

Autumn Lilac® Encore® Azalea brings a strong flush of lavender-purple flowers in spring, then continues blooming again through the warmer months and into fall. That repeat-flowering habit is one of the biggest reasons gardeners choose Encore® Azaleas over traditional spring-only types. Instead of giving you a brief moment of color and then fading into the background, this shrub keeps reappearing with fresh blooms even as much of the garden has already moved on.

The flowers are funnel-shaped, bright, and lightly speckled with deeper purple markings, which gives them a little extra depth up close. That color works beautifully with white flowers, dark green evergreens, chartreuse foliage, and silver-toned companions. For homeowners who want a flowering shrub that carries on through the season rather than peaking once and then disappearing, Autumn Lilac® is an especially satisfying choice.

Compact evergreen habit that fits smaller spaces

Autumn Lilac® Encore® Azalea stays compact and rounded, which makes it easy to place in smaller residential landscapes. It typically matures to 4 feet tall and 4 feet wide, providing enough substance to anchor a bed while remaining manageable for foundations, border edges, and patio-adjacent plantings. That moderate size helps homeowners enjoy a full shrub presence without taking on a plant that quickly becomes oversized.

Its evergreen foliage adds value even when it is not in bloom. The leaves stay glossy green through the year, which helps keep the planting looking finished across multiple seasons. That year-round foliage makes the shrub useful in formal borders, mixed foundation beds, and decorative containers where structure matters just as much as flower color. It is a flowering shrub, but it still contributes as an evergreen landscape plant long after the bloom flush has passed.

A versatile flowering shrub for borders, foundations, and containers

This azalea works beautifully in foundation beds, mixed borders, front walkways, and grouped mass plantings where the repeat bloom can be appreciated across the season. The rounded habit makes it easy to pair with boxwoods, loropetalum, ornamental grasses, perennials, and other azaleas without the planting looking chaotic. It also performs very well as a repeating rhythm plant, allowing homeowners to carry flower color through a design without relying on annuals.

Autumn Lilac® also adapts well to large containers, which is a major advantage for porches, patios, and entryways. In a decorative pot, it provides an evergreen structure and periodic flushes of purple bloom in one plant. That flexibility gives it more everyday value than a shrub that only works in open landscape beds. For gardeners who want a shrub that can move easily between formal and casual settings, this one is especially useful.

Easy-care reblooming performance with the right site

Autumn Lilac® Encore® Azalea performs best in full sun to partial shade, with strong light supporting the best rebloom and a denser habit. It prefers acidic, well-drained soil and benefits from even moisture while establishing. Once rooted in, it becomes a dependable, low-maintenance shrub that offers more bloom flexibility than many gardeners expect from an azalea.

Pruning needs are light, and if shaping is necessary, it is best done after the spring bloom flush. Heavy pruning is usually unnecessary because the plant naturally keeps a neat rounded form. For homeowners who want a flowering evergreen shrub that is colorful, compact, and much longer-blooming than traditional azaleas, Autumn Lilac® Encore® Azalea is a very strong choice.

Angels and the Fallen — Breathtaking Start
Format: Kindle
This book was EVERYTHING I expected it to be and more. Leave to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair to give us yet another amazing book! Kieran and her guys hooked me from the very beginning and did not let go. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and it was done so well in this book. Couple that along with an FMC trying to find her place in the world and I was practically drooling over this book. The world building, the conflict, the wyverin sidekick — it all was done so well that it felt fresh and real. Each love interest felt real and unique in their own ways. I felt connected to each one and like they were truly different people. I love that so much in a book and these two authors never miss with their love interests. Multi POV, Reverse harem, who did this to you, and a magical world highlighting the angels and the fallen. This book has everything and it does it so well. Big thank you to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair for the arc copy! I cannot wait for book 2!

A new take 🤔
Format: Kindle
I’m not going to go into what this book is about — by now you e already read the synopsis and have an idea — but I will give a couple of insights. Definitely a different take on angels and their fall; I like it. This is an interesting start to a new series - YES, this does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. I’m eager for the next book (and hopefully the last in this series — sometimes the author(s) will switch it up depending on how the story flows for them) in this series. I’m hoping that a certain male character redeems himself because he’s a dick that will make the meaning of mixed signals jealous lol. You ever watch that old movie — I think it’s call Mommy Dearest? — yea, let’s switch that up to daddy. That man would make a perfect husband to mommy dearest. I recommend this book because while these authors are well known for their cliffhangers, they are also well known for putting out good stories.

Liked it
Format: Kindle
I liked the worlds and the characters. The prophesy is confusing in that I would think, since all worlds ore on a path to destruction, the angels would want their world to be saved. I am sure there is more evil that will be revealed as the series proceeds. I dislike a prolonged “poor little me” trope and the main character has moved past that, thankfully, and began to show a fierce attitude as the novel progressed. The last portion of the novel had some great action. It’s worth reading, just be patient with a slow start.

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."
