Designed to grow with the child and provide safety and comfort at all stages, the seat features five recline positions, three crotch buckle positions, a 9-position adjustable headrest, and a no-rethread harness for quick adjustments on the go. It comes with a Comfort Inlay, providing a snug fit for babies as small as 14 lbs. With its extended rear-facing limit of 50 lbs and a forward-facing setup for up to 65 lbs, the Rove ensures the safest riding position for as long as possible. This lightweight but mighty car seat packs a serious safety punch with an always-engaged side impact protection, featuring Side Impact Pods (SIP) and EEP foam that absorb and deflect crash forces. The Multi-Directional Tether reduces seat rotation and stress on the child's head and neck in the event of impact.

Rove's effortless QuickGuard Installation is complete in three intuitive steps with spring-loaded lock-off doors that secure the vehicle belt without use of the Automatic Locking Retracting System (ALR), giving parents a peace of mind. UPPAbaby's patent-pending SmartSecure® System features a red-to-green indicator that confirms correct installation at a glance. The UPPAbaby Rove Convertible Car Seat is GREENGUARD Gold certified and completely free of chemical fire retardants, ensuring the child isn't in contact with any nasty chemicals.

Included with the Rove is a removable cup holder that you can attach to either side of the seat - perfect for making sure your little one stays hydrated on the go! An additional cup holder is sold separately if you need a spare or want one on either side of the seat. The seat also features buckle storage, as well as an integrated zipper for easy fabric removal - the fabrics are machine washable so cleanup after car snacks is a breeze!

At just 25.2 lbs, the Rove is lightweight and easy to travel with, and is FAA certified for safe flights.

  • Care instructions: Fabrics (Seat, Headrest Covers, Inlay Cover, Harness Covers, and Crotch Buckle Cover) and Comfort Inlay are machine washable. Harness webbing and plastic can be spot cleaned. Lower anchor connectors should be rinsed under warm running water.

Feels like a real upgrade, but maybe priced a little high

This is one of those things you don’t think much about until you switch to a better one. Right away you notice the weight. It actually stays put when you pull a sheet instead of sliding all over the counter or tipping up, which already makes it better than most cheap holders. The spring arm does help keep the roll under control so you’re not pulling half the roll by accident. One handed use works most of the time, but it depends on the paper towels. Thinner rolls tear clean without any effort. Thicker ones can still need a second hand here and there, so it’s not perfect but still better than a basic stand. Build quality feels solid. The finish looks clean and not cheap, and it wipes down easily. It definitely looks like something you’d keep out on the counter instead of hiding. Only real downside is the price. It does what it’s supposed to do and does it well, but it’s still a paper towel holder at the end of the day. You’re paying for the weight and design more than anything. If you’re tired of flimsy ones, this is a noticeable step up. Just depends if you care enough to spend extra on something this simple.

Sleek Kitchen Essential One Handed Paper Towel Dispenser

​The Ultrean paper towel holder is a countertop accessory designed for convenience featuring a sturdy stainless steel construction that wipes clean easily and blends into any kitchen or bathroom decor. It stands upright on a weighted non slip base that provides stability during use and it is equipped with a spring loaded arm intended to assist with one handed tearing. The assembly is very straightforward making it quick to set up right out of the box so you can start using it immediately for your daily cleaning tasks. ​I found this holder very easy to put together and integrate into my space and it definitely adds a nice modern touch to my kitchen counters. While it is marketed as a one handed tear dispenser I have noticed that it depends on the type of paper towels you are using. If I am using thinner cheaper rolls the tear is effortless but with my preferred thick Bounty paper towels the tension is not always enough to tear them off cleanly with just one hand so I usually end up holding it down to get a clean rip. ​The major pros of this dispenser are the weighted non slip base that keeps it from sliding around and the stainless steel finish that makes maintenance simple with just a quick wipe. The main con is that it struggles with heavy duty paper towels often requiring two hands to tear without tipping or pulling the whole roll which might be frustrating if you are expecting a true one handed experience every single time. Still it is a functional and attractive piece that keeps my kitchen organized and as long as you do not mind using both hands for the thicker brands it is a solid addition to any home.

A Paper Towel Holder That Actually Holds Its Own

This is a lot nicer than I expected for something as boring as a paper towel holder. The base has some real weight to it, so it doesn’t slide around every time you try to tear off a sheet. The spring-loaded arm also helps keep the roll from spinning freely. The gold finish looks good in person. It leans a little more bronze/brassy than bright gold, which my wife prefers in our darker colored kitchen. It feels sturdy, wipes clean easily, and doesn’t look cheap sitting on the counter. The one-handed tearing works pretty well, though it may depend on the paper towels you use. Thinner rolls tear off easily. With thicker paper towels, you may still need a second hand here and there to get a clean rip. We use the Costco branded Kirkland paper towel rolls and haven't had any issues getting just one sheet. I am guilty of yanking at our old paper towel with one hand roll to try and rip off a single sheet. My success rate has significantly increased since we started using this paper towel holder. It’s definitely more expensive than a basic paper towel holder, but it also feels like a clear upgrade from the cheap flimsy ones. Would I normally buy this? Probably not, but if I am splurging on kitchen upgrades, then I'd definitely have this on my list.
