Ideal for use on established turfgrass, lawns, ornamentals, sod farms, and Christmas tree farms, Prodiamine 4L helps control problem weeds such as crabgrass, annual bluegrass, chickweed, henbit, knotweed, foxtail, and spurge. Its low solubility and low volatility allow it to remain in the weed germination zone for extended protection. How It Works

Prodiamine 4L works as a pre-emergent herbicide by inhibiting cell division in newly germinating weed seeds. This prevents weeds from establishing in treated areas.

For effective activation, approximately 0.5 inches of rainfall or irrigation is required after application to move the product into the soil where weed seeds germinate.

Application Information

• Mixing Rate: 0.3 – 1.1 oz per 1,000 sq. ft.

• Apply using a low-pressure sprayer

• Minimum spray volume: 20 gallons per acre (0.5 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft.)

• May be tank mixed with other labeled herbicides (see label for details)
