Lonicera ciliosa, commonly known as the Orange Honeysuckle or Western Trumpet Honeysuckle, is a beautiful and native woody vine found in western North America. This twining vine is renowned for its clusters of tubular, trumpet-shaped flowers that come in shades of vibrant orange to red-orange, often accompanied by a sweet, honey-like fragrance. The leaves are opposite, oval, and typically dark green. Lonicera ciliosa is a valuable plant for wildlife, attracting hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees with its nectar-rich blooms. In addition to its aesthetic appeal and ecological importance, this honeysuckle produces small, translucent, red-orange berries that are edible but are usually not as sought after as the flowers. It thrives in a variety of habitats, from forests to open areas, and is an excellent choice for native plant gardens, hummingbird gardens, and natural landscapes where it adds color, fragrance, and wildlife interest to the environment. Germination

Germinating Lonicera ciliosa seeds can be a rewarding process, but it requires some patience. To prepare the seeds for germination, they may benefit from a cold stratification period to mimic natural winter conditions. Place the seeds in a damp paper towel or peat moss and seal them in a plastic bag, then refrigerate for 30-90 days. After stratification, sow the seeds in a well-draining potting mix in small pots or trays. Lightly press the seeds onto the surface of the soil, as they need light for germination. Provide indirect sunlight or use grow lights to maintain a temperature around 60-70°F (15-21°C). Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Germination can be slow, taking several weeks to several months. Once the seedlings have developed several true leaves, transplant them into individual pots or directly into the garden, ensuring they receive full to partial sun. Be patient and diligent, as Lonicera ciliosa seeds may require some time and care to achieve successful germination, but the beautiful orange flowers and wildlife attraction make it worth the effort.

Reliable, No‑Mess Pads That Actually Work
Size: X-Large, Style: 40 Count
I’ve tried a bunch of different puppy pads, but these Amazon Basics ones are easily the most reliable. The 5‑layer design really does make a difference—no leaking, no soggy spots, and the quick‑dry top layer keeps my puppy from tracking wet footprints around the house. They absorb way more than I expected, and the plastic backing has never let anything seep through to the floor. The size is perfect for daily training, and the pads stay flat instead of bunching up. My puppy took to them right away, and cleanup is super easy. For the price and the quality, these are honestly the best value pads I’ve found. Highly recommend for puppies, small dogs, or even senior dogs who need a little extra help.

They're okay-ish. Not suitable for a lot of liquid.
Size: Regular, Style: 100 Count
I use these for my opossums. They work okay-ish, but I continue to use them for the quantity and price. They're not very large animals. Make sure you are changing them out after a single pee. These really can not handle a lot of liquid. My girls both refused litter training, and so puppy pads are my only option. If your animal has large pees, I do not recommend these because it will not be able to absorb it all, and you're gonna have a mess! Thats the word I have been looking for. They can't absorb a large amount of liquid.

GOOD PRODUCT AND PRICE
Size: Regular, Style: 100 Count
The puppy pee pads are very well made at a good price. I purchased the same size pads with the same count from a competitor of Amazon, and they were more expensive, much thinner and when I tried to unfold them, some would stick together and the pads would rip.
