DESCRIPTION
The Lavender plant, belonging to the Lamiaceae family and scientifically known as Lavandula spp., originates from the Mediterranean region. With its aromatic foliage and fragrant flowers, Lavender adds a touch of elegance to gardens and indoor spaces alike. To thrive, Lavender requires full sunlight, at least 6-8 hours daily, and well-draining soil. In Singapore's tropical climate, water sparingly, allowing the top inch of soil to dry between watering to prevent root rot. While generally easy to care for, Lavender demands specific conditions for optimal growth. This pet-friendly plant is non-toxic to cats and dogs, but caution is advised to prevent excessive ingestion. Cultivate a fragrant and visually appealing garden with Lavender, a versatile herb that delights the senses and enhances your living space.
