Nearly everything is interchangeable so with over 30 limb options and so many more ways to customize your Monster, you can make a unique creature every time you return to this book.
With more than 35 Monster body options, plus myriad variations for limbs, mouths and teeth, horns, antennae, tails, scales, and so much more, you will never make the same Monster twice. Choose from wide-open mouths with fangs to adorable Monsters with bunny ears and a cat tail to Monsters with hair poufs and scales. Make one-eyed spiders or three-eyed aliens, dragons with scales or little friends that don’t match any known monster to date. There is nearly no limit to the variations you can combine!
All Monsters use worsted weight and/or sport weight yarn and a size G-6 (4 mm) hook. Patterns are appropriate for beginner through advanced crocheters. If a stitch is new to you, just turn to the Glossary for detailed instructions on how to work it. Photos are included for each pattern piece and any complex stitches so you can be sure you are on the right track as you work.

Megan Lapp of Crafty Intentions has been creating crochet creatures from her imagination since 2017, and has amassed thousands of fans who just can't wait for her next exciting design. Megan’s background is in the Fine Arts, having graduated with honors from Lafayette College with a double major in Art and Music. Most of her artwork was three-dimensional in nature, but while she could always envision what she wanted to make, she could never get it to turn out quite the way she saw it in her head—until she discovered crochet! With crochet, she was suddenly able to create exactly what she wanted, and with time was able to translate her ideas into patterns for others to follow, and Crafty Intentions was born. She is the author of Crochet Creatures of Myth and Legend and Crochet Impkins.

POOR QUALITY WHILE OVER PRICED

Like so many others said, the sound box in this ball is faulty. lasted ONLY for 30seconds. My dog loves the giggle ball I purchased prior so I knew she would like this as well. Well, she did, for that whole 30 seconds. Both of us were so disappointed we could not further our play. Plus this ball was so much smaller than expected for the cost. I would not have minded the cost had this ball been on the ball! Don't purchase this item. Buy the giggle ball instead if you haven't already.

Only thing is I wish I had seen their message earlier, as I believe the window of opportunity for a refund may no longer be applicable. But who knows, they may reach out and still honor it when they review this review. Will update if that happens as it is worth mentioning the extra mile they may take. Brody loves the Owl ball

Indestructible ball….Destroyed my dog’s goals

I have a golden retriever that would rather watch the world burn with every toy I’ve ever gotten him than play nice with any of them.
He burns through toys faster than a cardboard bonfire.
However, the trap was set…I bought this as a last ditch effort to show that four legged champion of destruction that he could be bested…
I remember it to this day..
It was a Tuesday - raining
The ball came in the mail and as I nervously unwrapped and opened it, it was as if he knew a new challenger stepped in the ring as he came barreling towards the front door where I stood.
Not today I told myself as I stood with confidence with this ball of justice in front of me.
The usual sit and stay kept him at bay until I tossed it to him in which he had turned into a frantic honey badger shaking the ball and chewing ferociously he wanted the squeaking thing inside that doesn’t squeak but sounds like an ugly cry.
However, it is next Tuesday and the ball stands victorious
My dog has been bested and now understands the chain of command.
He respects the ball but will always come back for more until he feels that he has won
All in all absolutely buy this for aggressive chews and toy playing dogs.
