Across the outer leaf surfaces, raised green tubercles line up in horizontal bands, creating a bold, textured pattern that is easy to see even from a distance.
   
   In brighter light, the leaf tips gradually take on a rusty red tone, adding contrast to the fresh green body of the plant. Over time, the plant produces multiple offsets at its base and along the stems, forming a compact yet structured cluster with clearly defined shapes and surfaces.
