Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Aureum Variegated’ is a variegated cultivar of the tropical vine Epipremnum pinnatum, grown for its striking foliage with patches or streaks of yellow or lighter tones. It retains the climbing, vining habit characteristic of Epipremnum species and develops aerial roots to cling to supports as it grows.

Native to:
The species Epipremnum pinnatum has a native distribution across parts of Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indochina, southern China, Taiwan, Japan, and into Melanesia and northern Australia.

As a variegated cultivar, ‘Aureum Variegated’ is a horticultural selection rather than a naturally occurring wild form. Its leaves typically emerge in shades combining green and yellow; the juvenile leaves are typically whole and ovate, while mature leaves (if climbing) may develop splits or lobes.

Water:
Allow the substrate to dry slightly before watering again. A good guideline is to water when the top 2–3 cm of the potting mix feels dry to the touch. Overwatering may lead to root rot.

If the plant is climbing a moss pole, keeping the pole slightly moist (but not waterlogged) can encourage aerial rooting into the support.

Light:
Provide bright filtered light (indirect sunlight). Avoid strong direct sun, especially during the hotter parts of the day, as this can scorch or bleach the variegated leaf areas. In lower light, the variegation may fade and the plant may grow more slowly.

Humidity:
Moderate to high humidity is beneficial. A humidity range of 60–80 % is often recommended for variegated tropical vines.

If ambient humidity is lower, consider occasional misting, placing the plant near a humidifier, or grouping it with other plants. Because its humidity needs are fairly high, this plant is suitable for growing in a terrarium environment (assuming space allows) to maintain stability in moisture levels.

Temperature:
Maintain warm, stable indoor temperatures. A range of 18 °C to 30 °C is ideal; avoid exposure to temperatures below about 15 °C or cold drafts.

Not sure yet?
Only have had these for 24 hours but also purchased a couple other chew toys from Amazon as well and all were delivered at the same time. Point being that my #60 silver lab was trading off between all of them and after 2 hours only you can see little shards of plastic sticking up from these chews. Not sure how long these will last before having to throw them away but they are pretty nice and feel heavy and durable. So many of these companies claim they are “indestructible” but all 4 I purchased have little plastic pieces sticking up already. Even my #14 Shih Tzu enjoyed trying to chew these and it kept her busy even though they are for larger dogs.

Golden approved
My golden retriever’s really enjoy these chew toys. They are pretty durable and last awhile. They are hard plastic but they do get rough edges after they’ve been chewed in for awhile

Perfect for chewy doggos
My dogs loved them! Keeps them entertained for a few mins. You can also fill with PB and freeze. Or yogurt and freeze. Great for the doggos

Mixed Results: SIHRMIU Dog Chew Toys Offered Stimulation, Limited Interest from Aggressive Chewers
I recently purchased the SIHRMIU 2 Pack Dog Chew Toys for Aggressive Chewers with hopes of providing my energetic dogs with both entertainment and stimulation. While these toys boasted durability and were designed to alleviate boredom, my experience with them yielded mixed results. Upon receiving the chew toys, I appreciated their sturdy construction and the promise of durability, which was essential given my dogs' penchant for aggressive chewing. The variety of textures and shapes seemed promising, offering potential for engaging play sessions that could keep my pets occupied and mentally stimulated. Initially, my dogs showed some interest in the toys, eagerly sniffing and exploring them. They seemed intrigued by the different textures and shapes, and I was hopeful that these toys would provide the entertainment they needed. However, as my dogs began to interact more with the toys, it became evident that their interest was short-lived. While they engaged with the toys for brief periods, they quickly lost interest and returned to their usual chewing favorites. Despite their designation for aggressive chewers, the toys did not seem to withstand the intense chewing of my pets as well as expected. Within a short time, I noticed signs of wear and tear, with pieces starting to break off. While the SIHRMIU dog chew toys offered some stimulation and diversion for my dogs, they ultimately failed to hold their interest or stand up to their aggressive chewing habits. While they may be suitable for dogs with less voracious chewing tendencies, they were not a perfect fit for my pets. In conclusion, while these chew toys have potential and may work well for some dogs, they fell short of expectations for my aggressive chewers. I appreciate the effort put into their design and durability, but unfortunately, they did not meet the needs of my furry companions.
