While excellent for quick coverage of difficult, sunny banks where nothing else will grow, its vigorous nature can make it invasive in garden settings. Use with caution and only where its spread can be contained.
-
An extremely fast-growing, trailing sedum with small, lance-shaped, bright green leaves.
-
Spreads aggressively by long, rooting stems, forming a dense mat.
-
Extremely drought and poor soil tolerant.
-
Can become invasive, smothering smaller plants; best used on large, difficult slopes or in contained areas.
-
Valued more for utility (erosion control) than ornament in landscaping.
