I mix the extra fine chips with medium perlite and fine charcoal only.. to add aeration and sweetness, but not take away from the properties of the coconut husk.I use this for super small seedlings, or seedling that are struggling to thrive in a larger mix. It’s also great for compots of newly deflasked orchids, as you can leave them in their compot until they are ready to pot up… that may be a year, it may be three! The coconut husk mix will last a long time.
Coconut husk is also a renewable resource, which comes from the otherwise wasted husk of a coconut. It is very long lasting and slow to break down. This means repotting only every 4 or 5 years, instead of every one or two!

My four approve

My dogs, which I have 4, 2 labradors, one Jack Russell and one medium smallish mixed breed dog, all really love the bones. Three of them seem to be vigorous chewers the mixed breed girl being the toughest one on bones. These bones are holding up really well and the dogs really seem to like them. The dogs have not been able to get any big chunks off of the bones so I feel safe letting them have them even when I’m not watching. I would recommend these to Pet owners.

Great toy that stands up to tough dogs

When these toys first arrived and I opened the box I was disappointed. They seemed a bit flimsy and were not what I was expecting Boy was I wrong! My dog lived his new toy and it’s has not left his side. Best of all, it’s a tough little toy that can take a beating and keep going. My dog usually tears through his toys in a matter of hours, and I tried numerous toys over the years. I’ve tried Kevlar toys, toy that claim to be very sturdy, he always destroyed them in a matter of hours. This toy looks flimsy, but it’s soft and strong
