The base of each leaf stalk--approximately the bottom 5 inches--is where the flavor hides in this citrusy herb. Remove the leafy top and woody bottom, strip the tough outer layers, and you'll discover the delicious white inner stalk. Chop or mince and add it to Asian-inspired curries, stir fries, and marinades. Use the discarded lemongrass bits to infuse tea, broth, or soup with citrus flavor. Easy to follow instructions, odd colors

If you follow the instructions they go onto plastic like a dream. That being said expect to play with color settings a lot if you're doing anything other then blacks. Browns tend to bleach out and turn orange.
