While not a true pothos, Scindapsus pictus and pothos (Epipremnum spp.) are related -- both belong to the family Araceae. Place the plant on a shelf or hang it and enjoy its cascading charms. While the vines of satin pothos are capable of spreading in length to 10 feet, the plant can be pruned to achieve a bushier or tidier plant. The plant can be trained to climb as well.
