Trumpet Creeper Plants (Hummingbird Vine) is a climbing plant whose flowers are pollinated by hummingbirds. If you plan to plant it in your yard, be prepared to see hummingbirds daily throughout the summer. It grows relatively quickly. While beautiful all year round with their spiky seed pods and star-shaped leaves, these trees are incredibly gorgeous in the fall when they turn stunning shades of purple, pink, orange, and yellow.

The Trumpet Creeper Plants (hummingbird vine) Lure Wildlife.

The specific shape of the flowers is meant to keep the rich nectar out of reach of most insects and birds, except bees and hummingbirds. Although both hummingbirds and bees are their primary pollinators, hummingbirds appear to get most of the attention. Its flowers perfectly accommodate the hummingbirds' long-probing tongues and slender beaks. Every time the bird sticks its small head into a flower, it pollinates the next flower that attracts it. The flowers are ideal for attracting numerous hummingbirds to the general landscape.

The exquisite tubular-shaped flowers are a wide range of colors, including reds, oranges, and yellows

They will bloom throughout the summer and early fall, although shady areas may not bloom as well as sunlight areas. After they flower, the vines produce pretty seedpods similar to beans.

 Requirements

They are straightforward in growing and thriving in the sun and semi-shade. Even though it prefers good, well-draining soil, the flowers are resilient and flexible enough to adjust to virtually any kind of soil and will readily grow. Take care not to plant them too close to your home since the creeping roots can work their way under your home's shingles and cause significant damage to the foundation.

The Plant Maintenance Doesn't Require Fertilizer

The trumpet creeper (hummingbird Vine) plants don't require fertilizer and should only be watered as needed since they tend to grow rather vigorously. Once established, they are virtually maintenance-free for the most part. However, minimal maintenance does involve pruning them from time to time. Pruning them regularly keeps them under control. Pruning should be done once a year, preferably in the spring, and can be clipped back to only a few buds for great results.

The Hummingbird Plant (Campsis radicans), better known as the trumpet vine, is a tough, fast-growing climber native to the U.S. It doesn’t need much fussing over and does best in full sun, where it puts out bright, trumpet-shaped flowers that hummingbirds can’t resist. The vine’s dark, glossy leaves give fences and walls a fuller, greener look, and its little rootlets help it hang on to whatever it climbs. As long as you keep it away from busy walkways—since the leaves can get in the way—it’s an excellent plant for adding color and attracting wildlife to the garden.

amazing
Format: Kindle
Knot the Bride was a fantastic read! The characters were all amazing and well-developed. It was easy to like them all. Sophia, Luca, Nick, and Gavin were all perfect for each other. It was such a charming story that had me hooked the entire time. I did wish there were POVs from Luca, Nick, and Gavin but it was still an amazing book without it. I am excited to read the next book in the Willowside Omegaverse series! This is definitely a must-read for fans of omegaverse romance!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 Star Read,
Format: Kindle
This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.

Cozy Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
This is the true definition of Cozy Omegaverse. LA wedding coordinator meets her pack at the location for a couple’s destination wedding. Low angst because they are scent matched high heat with heats and knots. Everything you love about this genre with very little anxiety. Simply a fun experience to read and a book I will comeback to when I’m in a slump. I simply love reading this book

Cute Omegaverse story
Format: Kindle
3.75 stars and 2 for spice. Adorable Omegaverse story about a wedding planner who has to go to a small town to plan a wedding for a movie star. While there, she meets her pack. This covers her struggles of not living there but trying to keep her relationship going with her 3 Alphas. It's a quick read and cute, so I recommend it for people who like light-hearted RH stories.

real good
Format: Kindle
This was a solid read for the ABO universe. The characters are great. The smut scenes were well written. And the town is so cute I want to go there. It didn’t have much character development it just felt like I was getting to the characters as they were getting to know each other.
