Meet the Snake Plant 'Moonshine' – a plant that enchants with its unique, silvery-green hue and sculptural form. This houseplant is not only a stunning design element in any interior, but also a true "air filter" that produces oxygen even at night. Thanks to its durability and modesty, it will be an ideal gift for both beginners and experienced plant lovers.
Care Instructions
-
☀️ Light: Prefers a bright spot or partial shade. To maintain the leaf’s special silvery color, it is recommended to provide enough indirect light (in shade, the leaves may turn darker green).
-
💧 Watering: Water rarely and moderately. Allow the soil to completely dry out between watering sessions. In winter, reduce watering to a minimum. Excess moisture is this plant’s biggest enemy.
-
🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives well at normal room temperature. No misting needed, as the plant tolerates dry air well.
-
🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant’s leaves are toxic if ingested, so keep away from cats and dogs.
🏠 Most Suitable Room
-
Bedroom: Since snake plants produce oxygen even at night, they improve sleep quality.
-
Minimalist-style living room: The silvery leaves serve as a refined accent.
-
Office desk: A great choice for the workspace as it requires minimal attention.
