Rich, Nutrient-Dense Blend from the Earth & Sea
This potting mix features a unique combination of aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss, sandy loam, earthworm castings, bat guano, fish emulsion, and crab meal—a “powerhouse blend” designed for robust growth.
The texture is light and aerated, allowing excellent drainage while retaining enough moisture for healthy roots. The blend is pre-balanced and ready to use out of the bag — no additional mixing required.
Optimized for Containers, Houseplants & Rapid Growth
With a pH adjusted to 6.3–6.8, Ocean Forest supports strong nutrient uptake from the outset.
Whether you're starting seedlings, repotting houseplants, or filling garden containers, this mix offers professional-grade performance. It’s especially effective when paired with quality fertilizers, but supports plants well even on its own.
Easy to Use — Straight From the Bag
Fill your container to about 1 inch from the top of the pot, place your plant, water thoroughly, and let the mix settle. There’s no need to add amendments unless desired.
It also works beautifully for top-dressing in existing containers: layer a 3-inch top-dress around established plants and water in for an instant refresh.
Designed for Strong Roots & Vigorous Plants
The high-quality organic amendments help fuel root growth and plant development — earthworm castings for beneficial microbes, guano for nutrient density, and sand/loam for structure and aeration.
Because the mix is lighter than typical heavy soils, roots can breathe and expand, helping plants become healthier and more resilient.
