Grow Up — Literally

This Espresso Fir Wood Elevated Raised Garden Bed with Climbing Trellis combines a deep planter box with a built-in trellis in one cohesive, space-efficient design. Carbonized fir wood gives it a rich espresso finish with a visible wood grain — protected by a waterproof coating that holds up season after season.

Elevated off the ground at 15.75", it's easier on your back and keeps roots away from ground moisture. The integrated trellis (41.25" × 23.5") gives climbing vines, cucumbers, beans, or flowering plants a natural structure to grow into — or use it to hang baskets and outdoor decor.

Key Features

  • Built-in climbing trellis — 41.25" L × 23.5" H, ideal for vines, climbers, or hanging decor
  • Self-draining design — two drainage holes prevent oversaturation and root rot
  • Non-woven fabric liner — promotes air permeability and prevents soil erosion
  • Carbonized fir wood — waterproof-painted to protect the natural grain and resist weathering
  • Elevated 15.75" off the ground — reduces bending, improves drainage, deters ground pests
  • 132 lb weight capacity — handles dense soil, mature plants, and heavy harvests

An excellent book
Format: Kindle
I am a new fantasy fiction writer, and the detail of this book really helped me out very much. As I was searching Amazon for a book on this topic, this was one of the few that stood out. The author also offers continuous lessons on world building through his free newsletter, which I also find helpful. I highly recommend this book. Thank you Randy. L.M. Montes

Both books in this series are worthwhile reference sources
Format: Kindle
Great books--I got both this one and Creating Places. I simply stumbled upon both books online when looking for something about plotting, and I bought them both, and am glad I did. I'm a fairly experienced writer in literary genres, but fantasy/sci-fi are different. The first book I got, Creating Places, was immediately useful as I was creating a land ringed with tall mountains, and I wondered about rainfall--this book answered my question about how mountains effect rainfall! It's not like you couldn't look some of this stuff up in other ways, but having it all in one place was very useful to me. This one still had tips I was interested in, but I agree with the reviewer who noted it did feel like it was more about world building for world building's sake (at least in this book). Plenty of things didn't apply to what I'm writing, but if you use these as a handy reference--rather than a "how to" book, I still think there is a lot of use here. (Plus, when I bought it, the book was under $3, so I figured why not?)

A lot to think on!
Format: Kindle
I've been world building for several years now and thought I'd pick up this book just to see someone else's thoughts. This book really brought up some fun points I've skipped and gave me a lot of tools, can't wait to read the next one!

Very useful resource
Format: Paperback
I reference this book often when creating new characters, monsters and even animals and plants. The book has lots of interesting and useful tips and insights that I've found very useful. Its also organized in a manner that is easy to just go to the sections you need.

A fantastic resource for building your world
Format: Kindle
A fantastic resource for building your world. This book focuses specifically on the life in your created world, with lots of useful advice on fleshing out the deities, different humanoid species, animals, monsters, and undead. I'm very much looking forward to the release of the other two books that will follow on from this one.
