The tomatoes can be eaten fresh or sun dried for a delightfully sweet treat. Tomatoes are considered a superfood for its nutrient rich content, having a high (top 20) Aggregate Nutrient Density Index score (ANDI), or micronutrient-per-calorie density. Tomatoes are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and potassium. They also contain phytonutrients, including the carotenoids lycopene and beta-carotene.

Patio Choice red cherry tomato, an herbaceous tender perennial, is grown as an annual. A determinate variety, often called a "bush" tomato, it has a compact habit and grows as a self-supporting bush. The bush grows to about 18 inches tall and 18 to 20 inches wide, suitable for a container or hanging basket, for especially easy picking.
