Aloe aristata ‘Magic’, commonly known as the Lace Aloe, is a compact and easy-care succulent prized for its attractive rosettes of deep green leaves adorned with delicate white markings and finely serrated edges. Unlike many larger Aloe varieties, this charming plant remains compact, making it perfect for windowsills, desks and smaller spaces.
Native to Southern Africa, Aloe aristata is exceptionally drought tolerant and well suited to modern homes. Its architectural shape and low-maintenance nature make it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts. Given the right conditions, mature plants may also produce attractive orange-red flower spikes.
This easy-care houseplant thrives in a bright position with plenty of indirect light, although it can tolerate some direct sunshine. Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings and avoid overwatering, particularly during the winter months. As with most succulents, it prefers a dry atmosphere and is not suitable for humid rooms such as bathrooms.
