This stunning trailing vine is a highly sought-after houseplant known for its elegant appearance and adaptability to various indoor conditions. Native to Southeast Asia, it has become one of the most popular houseplants worldwide due to its low-maintenance nature and striking visual appeal.
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the delicate leaves and fade the beautiful variegation.
- Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures between 18-24°C (65-75°F). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C (59°F).
- Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity levels of 40-60%. Benefits from regular misting or placement near a humidifier.
- Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Allow excess water to drain completely to prevent root rot. Reduce watering frequency during winter months.
Additional Notes:
Foliage Characteristics: Features heart-shaped, velvety leaves with silvery-green variegation and striking silver spots on a deep green background. Its trailing vines can grow several feet, making it ideal for hanging baskets or moss pole training. This elegant plant adds a refined touch to any interior with minimal care.
