Will these nozzles fit any floating fountain head?

No — these nozzles are designed specifically for the EasyPro ACF AquaFloat fountain head. They use a 2" NPT thread connection and are not compatible with other brands or float assemblies.

Which floating fountain nozzle pattern should I choose?

For most ponds the Wide Umbrella is the best starting point — it produces the classic broad fountain look with maximum surface coverage. Choose the Rocket if you want maximum height and a dramatic single-column display, especially on larger or deeper ponds. The Narrow Umbrella is a good middle ground — more height than the Wide Umbrella but less concentrated than the Rocket.

How high will the fountain spray?

Height depends on your pump's GPM and head pressure. The Rocket nozzle can reach up to 16 feet high with a pump delivering 65 GPM at 23' of head pressure. The Wide Umbrella reaches up to 8 feet high with 82 GPM at 19' of head. Use the performance charts above to match your pump to your expected display.

Can I use multiple nozzles on the same fountain head?

One nozzle at a time — only one nozzle threads onto the fountain head. But owning multiple nozzles lets you swap patterns whenever you want a different look, seasonally or just for variety.

How do I clean the nozzle?

Thread it off by hand, rinse with clean water, and use a soft brush to clear any debris from the ports. No tools required. EasyPro designed the threaded connection specifically for easy on-and-off maintenance.

Seasonal Notes

Spring

Before reinstalling your fountain for the season, check the nozzle ports for any mineral buildup or debris from storage. A quick rinse and brush clears any blockage that would affect spray performance. Spring is also a good time to try a different pattern if you want a fresh look for the season.

Summer

No maintenance needed during operation. The nozzle threads off quickly if debris gets into the ports mid-season — rinse and reinstall in a few minutes. Surface agitation from the fountain helps control duckweed, watermeal, and pollen buildup during peak growing season.

Fall

Remove the nozzle when shutting down your fountain for the season. Rinse clean and store dry. This is a good time to order additional patterns so you have them ready for spring.

Winter

Store nozzles indoors during winter. The PVC construction holds up well but there's no reason to leave them exposed to freeze-thaw cycles when they're not in use.
