Why PENDIRICH 38.7% CS Over 30% EC?
- Lower dose per acre: 700 ml vs 1000–1300 ml of 30% EC less product, same job.
- Longer residual control: 40–50 days of weed suppression vs 30–45 days from EC.
- Lower volatility: CS microcapsules reduce evaporation loss in hot conditions.
- Better soil binding: Stays in the top 2–3 cm where weeds germinate.
- Cleaner handling: Less staining, lower odour, easier tank-mixing.
- Higher ROI per acre: Even at premium price, the dose reduction makes net cost competitive.
How PENDIRICH Pendimethalin 38.7 CS Works
The microcapsules in the CS formulation are deposited on the soil surface after spraying. Each capsule releases pendimethalin slowly over weeks, creating a steady chemical barrier in the top 2–3 cm of soil.
Germinating weed seeds absorb the active ingredient through their shoot and root tips and die before emerging from the soil. The slow-release action means the barrier lasts longer and works through more weed flushes than a conventional EC.
