A fun and unique plant, the Swiss Cheese Plant (AKA Monstera Adansonii) gains more and more holes in its leaves as it matures. It is a vine in its natural habitat and can trail down, or climb up with a pole or trellis.Monstera are most often known for the fenestrations or deep lobes found on their leaves, although some are grown more for their coloration. They are members of the Arum family and care is typically similar to their more common cousins like Philodendrons and Pothos. Most varieties prefer strong indirect light with minimal direct sun, and should be watered moderately once they are almost but not totally dry. Most are vines, and can benefit from regular pruning and propagation.

Very good comprehensive introduction to Modernism
Format: Kindle
Very good comprehensive introduction to Modernism. Only not too helpful for me at the moment becasue I was looking for something more specific. Butler has this wonderful ability to make connections between the arts. He constructs a bigger picture of the Modern movement where many forms are interlinked, influenced and informed one another. He also has a longer book Early Modernism that might be more helpful if you are looking for indepth and moe detailed discussions.

Delivers on its title
A concise overview of a very big and very slippery subject. Covers a lot of ground with enough information to give the reader reason to explore for herself.

Format: Kindle
Excellent intro to a complicated subject. Much superior to other more well-known -- and wordier -- attempts at explaining modernism.
